Gorizia Students Club

This year, in March, the Club of Gorizia Students (KGŠ) organised its traditional event called Mortadeljada, the 16th in a row, which took place in all four university towns, with the main event at Ljubljana’s Gospodarsko razstavišče (Ljubljana Exhibition Centre).

The organizers of Mortadeljade 2010 wanted to offer visitors, especially students from all over Slovenia, an interesting and sober form of coastal entertainment and a varied musical and accompanying program, thus satisfying several (musical) tastes at the same time. Mortadeljada 2010 also brought with it a special novelty. This time their event had a charitable note, as one euro from each ticket sold for the Ljubljana event was donated to the Sparrow of Hope, the Foundation for Disabled Youth in Stara Gora near Nova Gorica. With the collected funds, they bought equipment for physiotherapy, and some of it was allocated to the construction of a new pavilion, which the Department for Disabled Youth of the General Hospital dr.
