A tree for Cerje

At the Vrabček upanja Foundation, we have long wanted to broaden the scope of our work and to offer help in other situations, both to individuals and to society and the environment.

For this reason, and because we care about the environment we live in, we decided to participate in the Tree for Cerje project.

All the media reported that in August, Cerje was engulfed by a major fire that burnt 100 hectares of undergrowth and pine and deciduous forest.

“In addition to their traditional economic role, forests also play other environmental roles: for example, they protect water resources, provide an ideal environment for human recreation, store carbon stocks, regulate water runoff and provide a favourable aquatic habitat for many species of life,” says the SURS website.

We invite you to join us and donate a tree for the Gratitude Tree!
